Chicago’s MB Real Estate makes personnel moves

Chicago’s MB Real Estate recently promoted Krysta Bavlsik to assistant vice president of its investment services team. Bavlsik, who previously served as the manager of the firm’s research team, will assist with a myriad of services, including Argus and Excel modeling and property valuation for dispositions, acquisitions and developments.

With the move, Jack Gavin was promoted to senior research coordinator of the firm’s research team. Gavin will spearhead the development of MB Real Estate’s Chicago Market Overview and Market Beat trend reports, as well as collaborate with the firm’s corporate services and tenant advisory and leasing services teams on new business development initiatives.

Prior to joining MB Real Estate, Bavlsik was a member of the research and strategy team for LaSalle Investment Management, specializing in researching properties across the Midwest and Mountain regions, including a national focus on the retail market. Collaborating with the firm’s investment services team, Gavin assisted in the disposition of Riverdale Marina in Riverdale, Ill., and multiple retail lease transactions in Mokena, Ill.
