What do you think needs to happen to change bulk buying in REOs?
Do you know the difficulties that comes with buying or selling bulk REOs? In the article below ways to change the entire way REOs are dealt with are suggested. If all buyers and seller of REOs starting taking the advice of the article below things would be a lot simpler for REO deals.
Anyone that has been involved in either the buyer side or seller side of a bulk reo transaction is fully aware of the difficulty arising in closing one of these deals. This particular sector of the real estate market has been unfortunately scared for a number of years by the deceptive and unscrupulous practices created by both buyers and sellers. Understandably a huge amount of skepticism arose from a lack of trust as a result of buyers not performing and sellers not producing.
The simple process of closing a bulk reo transaction has further been complicated the differences and disagreements in buyer and seller protocols. This seems to be just one of a long list of excuses showing the inability of buyers and sellers to reach common ground in order to close deals. The problem is there are to many “tire kickers”, “window shoppers”, “fakers”, “liars”, “cheaters”, etc that have cluttered the bulk reo industry.
When you evaluate both buyers and sellers, it quickly reveals the need for improvement in their practices. Buyers and Sellers have demonstrated the inability to follow assigned protocols to close transactions. For example, if buyers would deliver completed requested documents to the sellers in a timely manner and in return if sellers would notify buyers of product availability based on their request, the bulk buying process would proceed without interruption.
This finally returns to the root of the whole problem in that both buyers and sellers are misrepresenting their positions and authority. The reality is that these individuals are just acting as the buyer or seller to deceive all parties involved in a bulk reo transaction. As a result the deal falls apart, the buyer and seller are exposed, and the bulk industry claims another buyer and seller that are not real.
It is going to take an honest effort from a group of individuals to step forth and reverse all of the negative thinking associated with bulk reos. The whole bulk reo industry needs a total transformation and a overhaul of buyer and seller philosophies into a win-win situation for all.
Hope this article will give insight to the reader and if the reader is a buyer or seller to join me in encouraging change in the Bulk REO Industry. To move forward there must be change.
